Job summary

Pauwels Consulting is assisting a leading insurer to hire a senior backend professional to strengthen their in-house identity orchestration platform. The role focuses on maintaining existing components while migrating toward a modern, cloud-native Azure architecture with a strong IAM focus.

You will design, develop, and maintain Azure components including Azure Functions, Azure Container Apps, and Azure Key Vault, and support IAM topics such as user provisioning, API security, token conversion,

Qualifications

8+ years backend development with C# and .NET.
Experience with Azure cloud development and cloud-native services.
SQL relational database design including T-SQL stored procedures and functions.
Design, build, and consume REST APIs and JSON.
Hands-on with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and Git.
Agile methodologies and DevOps culture.
Fluent in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

Migrate existing .NET components to cloud-native Azure architecture.
Design, develop, and maintain Azure components (Functions, Container Apps, Key Vault).
Support IAM topics such as provisioning, API security, token conversion, and identity governance.
Collaborate with analysts and architects to translate specs into secure solutions.
Manage IAM incidents and vulnerability management for owned components.
Maintain quality via testing and documentation.
