Job summary

Capitole Consulting seeks a Senior .NET Developer for a Luxembourg-based project. You will design, develop, and maintain applications using C#, .NET 8, ASP.NET Core, and SQL Server in an international context.

The role offers a long-term mission with extension potential, exposure to Azure DevOps, microservices, and Agile/Scrum, with possible CDI or freelance collaboration and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in .NET development.
• Proficiency in C# and the .NET framework, with a focus on .NET 8.
• Solid experience with ASP.NET Core and building RESTful APIs (Web API).
• Strong understanding and practical experience with Entity Framework Core.
• Expertise in SQL Server, including database design, T-SQL, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture principles.
• Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Demonstrated experience working in an Agile/Scrum development methodology.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable applications using C# and .NET 8.
• Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and high-quality code leveraging ASP.NET Core and Web API frameworks.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to support various application functionalities.
• Work with SQL Server databases, including designing schemas, writing efficient queries, and optimizing performance.
• Implement and adhere to software development best practices, including SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Contribute to the architecture and design of microservices.
• Collaborate effectively within an Agile development environment.
• Utilize Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth and automated deployment processes.
• Engage in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
• Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
