Black Pen Recruitment is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer (AI/NLP) to join a global IT services team in Belgium. The role focuses on building advanced ML/NLP solutions, leveraging LLMs, transformers, and MLOps practices, with close collaboration to client IT teams on site.

Requirements include a university IT degree, 17 years of relevant experience, expert Python, and hands-on work with TensorFlow or PyTorch, Pandas, spaCy, Hugging Face, and SQL/NoSQL databases.

Qualifications

• University degree in IT with 17 years of relevant experience.
• Extensive ML and NLP expertise across Python libraries.
• Proven experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Experience with pre-trained models and transformer architectures.
• Strong data visualization and code tooling knowledge.
• Fluency in English; on-site work in Belgium.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement and optimise advanced AI, NLP, and ML models using state-of-the-art approaches.
• Create methods for tokenisation, POS tagging, NER, classification, clustering and other text mining tasks.
• Stay updated on NLP/ML trends and advancements in AI technologies.
• Develop and maintain robust, scalable Python code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML solutions into products and services.
• Perform rigorous analysis and experimentation to improve model accuracy and scalability.
• Develop comprehensive reports and visualisations to communicate insights to stakeholders.
