HOUSE OF ABY is seeking a skilled Linux System Administrator/Infrastructure Engineer to manage enterprise Linux environments, ensure patching, security, and performance. You will work across Red Hat/CentOS/Fedora, VMware, and scripting challenges while maintaining documentation and participating in releases.

The role blends operational support with security responsibilities in a Belgian setting, offering growth within a dynamic tech consulting group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Linux System Administrator or Infrastructure Engineer.
• Experience managing enterprise Linux environments; security, patch management and monitoring.

Responsabilités

• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade Linux servers and operating systems.
• Manage and support Red Hat, CentOS, and Fedora environments.
• Perform OS updates, patching, and lifecycle management.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity.
• Investigate and resolve infrastructure incidents and issues.
• Support software deployments and upgrades in production environments.
• Maintain and improve system documentation and procedures.
• Manage virtualized environments using VMware technologies.
• Provide second-line technical support for servers and infrastructure.
