EY is recruiting for an experienced Actuary to join our life insurance practice in Diegem. The Senior Consultant (2+ years) or Manager (5+ years) level offers exposure to pricing, valuation of liabilities, IFRS17, and internal model development within international teams.

You will use Prophet and Python to build pricing strategies and support due diligence and reporting for investors and stakeholders, contributing to a dynamic, globally connected firm.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in actuarial sciences.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a life actuarial-oriented position within an insurance company or consultancy.
• Solid knowledge in life product development/pricing, life reserving techniques, risk management, Solvency II, or IFRS17.
• Internal model experience is a plus.
• Strong teamwork with autonomy.
• Excellent communication with Dutch and/or French and business-level English.
• Global mindset for international teams.

Responsabilités

• Designing future-proof life insurance products, including pricing strategies and methodologies.
• Valuation of life insurance liabilities using actuarial software (Prophet, Python, etc.).
• Assisting IFRS17 processes and improving reporting for investors and stakeholders.
• Developing and optimizing internal models to compute the SCR.
• Supporting Transactions team during life portfolio due-diligences.
