Fortil in Antwerpen is seeking a senior Java developer to design, implement, test and maintain robust software applications. You will analyze user needs, produce technical analyses, write documentation and contribute to continuous improvement across production systems.

You will work with Java 8+ (Spring, Reactive Streams, Maven), frontend tech (Angular, TypeScript, HTML/CSS), and modern tooling (Git, Jenkins, JIRA, IntelliJ).

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Java development.
• Strong expertise in Java 8+ (Spring, Reactive Streams, Maven).
• Good knowledge of Git, Jenkins, JIRA.
• Database knowledge (Oracle, SQL, DB2).
• Experience with IntelliJ or similar IDE.
• Solid frontend experience in recent Angular versions (React a plus).
• Familiarity with ngrx, OpenID Connect, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, SASS.
• JSON Form knowledge is a plus.
• Fluent in French or Dutch, working knowledge of English.

Responsabilités

• Analyze user needs and assess technical feasibility.
• Produce technical analysis and documentation for application changes.
• Test solutions and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Monitor production, fix issues, and continuously improve applications.
• Handle service requests and bug resolution.
• Act as technical advisor for internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop new features and bug fixes in Java, following existing patterns and team standards.
• Participate actively in the team's Agile/Scrum process.
• Document applications (user manuals, processes, etc.).
