Ypto NV in Belgium is seeking an experienced Java Developer to join the Commercial Channels & Products team. You will develop high-performance, secure, and scalable Java applications, collaborating with product managers, designers, and technical teams to align with business goals.

You will mentor juniors, conduct code reviews, and contribute to Agile ceremonies while delivering high-quality software within agreed timelines. This role offers hybrid working near Brussels with a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent professional experience in software development.
• At least 4 years of solid Java development experience.
• Strong Java expertise and industry-standard coding practices.
• Ability to perform code reviews and QA practices.
• Experience with performance optimization and scalability.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and sprints.
• Proficient in English; Dutch or French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and technical teams to gather requirements.
• Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable Java code and conduct code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges while ensuring performance.
