Inetum Belgium is seeking a Senior Java Developer to drive backend design and implementation for large-scale digital transformation projects. You will work with architects, analysts and stakeholders to deliver scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs and cloud-native patterns.

You will own the delivery of high-quality, testable code, participate in code reviews and help shape development standards.

Qualifications

You will work on large-scale digital transformation projects, helping leading organizations design, develop and maintain scalable enterprise applications. Together with architects, analysts, developers and business stakeholders, you will contribute to innovative solutions that deliver real business value.

As a Medior - Senior Java Developer, you will:

• Develop, maintain and improve enterprise-grade Java applications.
• Design and implement scalable backend solutions using Java and the Spring ecosystem.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integration services.
• Contribute to microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts and development teams on complex cross-project initiatives.
• Participate actively in Agile and Scrum ceremonies.
• Identify opportunities for technical improvements and software optimization.
• Take ownership of software quality through unit testing, integration testing and code reviews.
• Ensure the delivery of well-designed, maintainable, testable and efficient code.
• Support and coach junior developers when needed.
• Contribute to development standards, best practices and technical documentation.

Profile

Required

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Java Development, with expertise in backend and/or full stack application development.
• Proven experience designing, developing and maintaining enterprise-scale software solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
