Job summary

Daikin Europe, in Ghent (Belgium), seeks a Software Engineer / Analyst to oversee development activities and translate business requirements into software specifications. You will own development tracks with suppliers, coordinate with the platform owner, and support 3rd line issues.

A strong IoT/app/web focus and cloud deployment expertise are essential. The role requires collaboration across teams, a solid IT/electronics background, and a drive to deliver robust, future-ready controls

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or Electronics.
• 5+ years in a software development environment.
• Strong knowledge of AWS or Azure, plus Python and cloud deployment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development activities with external partners to meet requirements.
• Translate business requirements into software and UI specifications.
• Take ownership of development tracks at software suppliers and coordinate with the platform owner.
• Assist the team with 3rd line support and issue resolution.
• Stay updated on evolutions in the field and propose new solutions.
