Nebius is seeking a Senior HPC Cluster Engineer to join our GPU & InfiniBand team and help optimize our hyperscaler platform. You will work on GPU computing, InfiniBand networks, and the KVM/QEMU stack, collaborating with hardware virtualization to ensure high performance and security in multi-GPU HPC environments.

You will analyze, troubleshoot, and automate fault detection, extend support for new GPU hardware with software stacks like Kubernetes, QEMU, and KVM, and push performance

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in system-level software development focused on performance optimization and low-level programming.
• 3+ years of hands-on Linux systems administration, troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• Deep understanding of server architecture, PCIe devices, NICs, Linux OS/kernel, and HPC systems.
• Strong proficiency in one or more performance-oriented languages (C/C++, Go, Python).

Responsabilités

• Tune GPU cluster performance and InfiniBand networks for HPC and GPU-based environments.
• Analyze root causes of GPU/InfiniBand issues and propose corrective actions.
• Integrate new hardware into infrastructure, supporting GPU hardware via Kubernetes, QEMU, and KVM.
• Enhance automation for proactive monitoring, fault detection, and resolution in GPU/InfiniBand environments.
• Configure and manage GPU devices and InfiniBand fabrics for efficient, reliable operation.
