Vivid Resourcing partnered with a global data client to recruit a Senior Functional Analyst on a permanent basis. In this cross-functional role, you’ll bridge business stakeholders, product owners and technical teams to define, refine and deliver solutions powering our digital platforms.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in an IT-related domain or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in functional or technical analysis.
• Ability to translate complex business, legal, security and technical requirements into clear functional documentation.

Responsabilités

• Create functional requirements based on EU regulations, standards and technical specifications.
• Write high-level analysis covering business flows, use cases, user journeys, integrations and constraints.
• Prepare user stories with clear acceptance criteria for development and testing.
• Act as single point of contact for functional questions during development.
• Validate development against acceptance criteria and test functionalities.
• Ensure requirements consider security, privacy, usability, auditability, compliance and scalability.
• Design a complete functional specifications package: ERD, BPMN, sequence diagrams and API specifications.

< p>I'm partnered with a global data client who are looking for a Senior Functional Analyst to join on a permanent basis. In this cross-functional role, you will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams—helping to define, refine, and deliver solutions that power our digital platforms.

As part of a collaborative and agile environment, you’ll work closely with other functional team members to support product evolution, ensure smooth sprint execution, and translate business needs into actionable requirements

Responsibilities

• Create functional requirements basing on EU regulations, standards and technical specifications.
• Write the high-level analysis with the appropriate level of detail, covering business flows, key use cases, user journeys, integrations, and regulatory constraints.
• Prepare user stories, meaning the detailed analysis, with clear acceptance criteria for development and testing.
• Function as the SPOC for all functional questions for all internal teams during the development process.
• Validate development by testing the functionalities as described in the user stories, based on agreed acceptance criteria.
• Ensure that requirements consider security, privacy, usability, auditability, compliance, scalability, and operational support from the stars.
• Design complete functional specifications package: ERD, BPMN, Sequence diagrams, functional specifications for services and APIs

Skills:

• Preferably a Master’s degree, or equivalent experience, in an IT-related domain
• 7+ years of experience in functional analysis or technical analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• The ability to translate complex business, legal, security, and technical requirements into clear functional documentations.
• Negotiation skills, with the ability to drive constructive discussions and reach consensus between business, technical, legal, security, and customer stakeholders.
• Practical knowledge of UML, ERD and BPMN
• Proven experience with Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
• Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Enterprise Architect, or similar analysis and documentation tools.
• Experience writing user stories, use cases, process flows, sequence diagrams, API requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience in describing APIs using Swagger or OpenAPI.
