Job summary

Altia is seeking a Senior Full-stack Software Engineer (Java) to join an international project in Belgium. You will shape scalable web applications with a focus on Drupal, API integration, data visualisation, and secure services.

We value senior frontend/backend experience, API design, and strong knowledge of Drupal, OpenAPI, and modern web technologies. English proficiency is essential and remote work is not specified.

Qualifications

• Requires a university degree or equivalent with extensive IT experience.
• English: B2 or higher, written and spoken.
• 5+ years server-side web development with PHP/Python/Java/Node.js; 2+ years Drupal modules.
• 5+ years front-end with HTML5/CSS/JS; responsive and cross-browser UI.
• 3+ years API/interoperability design (REST/SOAP, data exchange, SSO).
• Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks and data visualisation tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable front-end and back-end web applications.
• Integrate APIs and ensure secure web services and interoperability.
• Ensure accessibility, performance, code quality and maintainability.
