Vivid Resourcing is assisting a growing gaming company in Brussels to hire a Senior Front-End Engineer (React). You will own development of web-based gaming products and collaborate with product and engineering teams to turn ideas into scalable experiences for players.

The role emphasizes architectural decisions, performance, and hands-on coding with React and TypeScript, with hybrid working and a modern stack. AI capabilities and agentic development are a plus.

Qualifications

• Several years of professional experience in front-end engineering.
• Strong expertise in React.
• Excellent knowledge of TypeScript.
• A solid understanding of modern front-end architecture and development practices.
• Experience building scalable and performant web applications.
• Good understanding of state management, API integration and testing.
• Experience working with Git and modern CI/CD practices.
• An eye for detail and a genuine interest in creating great user experiences.
• The ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.

Responsabilités

• Building and maintaining high-quality front-end applications using React and TypeScript.
• Taking ownership of front-end architecture and making decisions around scalability, performance and maintainability.
• Working closely with Product and Design to turn concepts into polished user experiences.
• Developing reusable components and improving the overall front-end ecosystem.
• Integrating APIs and collaborating closely with back-end engineers.
• Identifying performance bottlenecks and continuously improving the user experience.
• Contributing to code reviews, testing and engineering best practices.
• Helping less experienced developers grow through knowledge sharing and technical guidance.
• Staying curious about new technologies and finding practical ways to introduce them into the development process.
