Zoetis in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium seeks a Senior Scientist - Formulation/Pilot Specialist to develop sterile liquid drug product formulations and lead pilot plant activities. You will drive development studies, apply QbD and DoE, and support stability strategies across R&D and manufacturing.

The role requires hands‑on work in GMP environments (Grade A/B) and close collaboration with QA, Analytical, and cross‑site teams. Fluency in French and English is essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or related field.
• Proven experience in drug product formulation development (sterile liquids preferred) within GMP environments.
• Strong understanding of protein/antigen stabilization and formulation compatibility.

Responsabilités

• Develop sterile liquid drug product formulations from feasibility to robust definition.
• Define formulation development strategies including excipient screening and robustness studies.
• Plan, execute, and document development studies; interpret results and propose next steps.
• Apply QbD principles and support DoE‑based studies as needed.
• Drive stability strategies and link outcomes to degradation pathways and formulation improvements.
• Participate in GMP manufacturing activities and tech transfer to scale‑down models across sites.
• Support CMC documentation and regulatory submissions as applicable.
• Identify and implement novel technologies within the area.
