Pozyx NV in Ghent, Belgium is seeking a Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer to design and optimize firmware for power-constrained ARM Cortex devices, using C/C++ on bare metal or RTOS.

You will collaborate with hardware, software and algorithms teams to bring intelligent indoor positioning and IoT hardware to production, contribute to validation, testing and release documentation, and support hardware bring-up.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of professional embedded firmware experience.
• Experience with low-level ARM Cortex devices and C/C++.
• Experience with RTOS-based embedded systems.

Responsabilités

• Design firmware architectures for power-constrained ARM-based devices (bare metal or RTOS).
• Benchmark, test and optimize low-level functionality and power consumption.
• Develop test code for hardware validation testing and production test benches.
• Peer-review embedded code and contribute to firmware integration reviews.
• Support hardware bring-up, debugging and validation with hardware engineers.
• Prepare technical documentation and support release processes.
