Axon is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Brussels to design and prototype electronic boards for mission-critical robotics such as UAVs and UGVs. You will work in a fast-paced R&D team, applying analog to digital techniques on densely packed, battery-powered systems.

You will use Altium/OrCAD tools, participate in full product development, and collaborate with manufacturing on design updates while maintaining high-quality prototyping. Brussels office, on-site with some flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of electronics design experience focusing on densely populated, battery-powered embedded systems.
• Proficiency in multi-layer PCB layout and/or rigid-flex design.
• Strong knowledge from analog to digital electronics.
• Experience with Altium Designer and/or Cadence OrCAD/Allegro.

Responsabilités

• Design schematics and PCBs; test and verify prototypes; support Firmware/Software teams in bringing up new boards.
• Design and build custom test systems to measure electronics performance.
• Test and measure boards, multi-board assemblies and components such as batteries and motors.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and update designs due to component obsolescence or unavailability.
