Job summary

Syngenia SA seeks an Electrical Engineer to design and dimension electrical installations from concept to execution for non-residential projects. You will handle LV/MV systems, lighting, data networks, access control, and fire detection, and prepare specs, BOQs, and cost estimates.

You will generate technical drawings for BIM modellers, coordinate with HVAC, plumbing, architecture, and structural teams, and participate in client meetings to provide technical input.

Qualifications

• 15–20 years of experience in electrical design.
• Experience in LV/MV installations, lighting, data networks, access control, and fire detection.
• Able to work independently and take ownership from design to execution.
• Knowledge of Caneco and Dialux.
• Fluent in French and English.
• BA5 certification; VCA certification is a strong asset.
• Familiar with BIM environments and collaborating with modelers.

Responsibilities

• Design and dimension electrical installations from concept to execution (non-residential).
• Design LV and MV installations, lighting, data networks, access control, and fire detection.
• Prepare technical specs, BOQs, cost estimates and calculation notes.
• Produce technical drawings and schematics for BIM modellers (Revit, ACC, BIM360 a plus).
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Participate in client meetings and provide technical input and recommendations.
• Follow up on site execution and support commissioning activities when required.
