Job summary

Ramboll Belgium is seeking a driven EHS Senior Consultant to advise clients on environmental, health and safety topics, with essential involvement supporting data center clients on developments in Belgium and abroad. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic CST team and grow within a global environment.

The role covers site due diligence, EHS compliance, permitting, management systems, audits, and international project management, with collaboration across colleagues worldwide.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Environmental and/or Health & Safety Sciences, Land and Water Management, Physical Geography, or similar.
• Demonstrated project management experience.
• 5–10 years consultancy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on environmental, health and safety topics and support data center projects in Belgium and abroad.
• Lead site due diligence, EHS compliance, permitting, management systems and audits.
• Manage international projects and coordinate advisory/regulatory reviews on EHS topics.
• Prepare proposals and reports in Dutch and English; communicate with clients and subcontractors.

Your new role

Ramboll Belgium is looking for a driven and resourceful candidate to advise our clients on environmental, health and safety topics. You have an essential role in our team to support data center clients on new developments in Belgium and abroad. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team with exciting projects, further develop diverse skills and build a successful career within the environmental consulting sector.

Your key role will be:

• Supporting data center clients with Site Due Diligence, EHS compliance, permitting, management systems, and audits
• Manage international projects for datacenter clients
• Regulatory compliance support, compliance auditing and managing (international) compliance audit programmes;
• Coordination of/experience with advisory services or regulatory reviews on specific EHS topics;
• Coordination of and involvement in international or local evaluations studies;
• EHS (management systems) consultancy and ad hoc EHS support to clients in the Netherlands;
• Manage (local) clients, identify opportunities for supporting clients on EHS matters;
• Proposal and report writing in Dutch and English;
• Diplomatic and effective communication with colleagues, clients and subcontractors.

Your new team

You will be part of the CST Department at Ramboll Belgium, where we support our clients on due diligence, permitting, compliance (audit), management systems and a wide variety of other EHS projects. We work on challenging data center projects together with colleagues around the world from our Environmental and Health Division, and with other Ramboll Divisions.

• BSc or MSc degree in Environmental and/or Health & Safety Sciences, Land and Water Management, Physical Geography, or similar;
• Demonstrated project management experience;
• Relevant work experience in consultancy (5 – 10 years – if you have more experience, don't let that stop you from applying if you're interested);
• High degree of independence, taking initiative, solution-oriented thinking;
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy;
• Good communication skills (verbal and written) in French and English.
