Sopra Steria is seeking a Senior Digital Transformation Architect for the Utilities & Energy sector in Belgium. You’ll lead architecture initiatives, align IT with business goals, and shape digital transformation across energy, water, and waste management domains.

You will design strategic blueprints, drive transformation programs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and value-adding solutions for clients in a rapidly evolving utilities landscape.

Qualifications

• Min 10 years of IT architecture experience, with 5+ years in digital transformation for utilities.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and utilities digital themes.
• Professional network in the Utilities sector.
• Excellent communication skills; able to articulate complex concepts.
• Strategic mindset bridging business and technical implementation.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with growth focus.

Responsabilités

• Design and architect digital transformation initiatives for energy, water, and waste management utilities.
• Lead business framing and solution architecture for key digital themes such as transformation consulting, cybersecurity, Data & AI, applications & integrations, cloud & infrastructure.
• Develop enterprise architecture blueprints that align IT direction with business objectives.
• Actively contribute to growing our advisory agency by identifying new opportunities and expanding our client base in the utilities sector.
• Create and implement innovative architectural strategies to increase market share in the Utilities sector, focusing on digital transformation and sustainability.

• Strategic mindset with the ability to bridge business strategy and technical implementation.
