Spektrum invites applications for a Senior Engineer role within NATO's MISP deployment team. You will own system administration, deployment architecture, and content quality across MISP infrastructure, collaborating with service delivery, engineering, sysadmin, dev, and data engineering colleagues, plus the open-source MISP community.

Requirements include 10+ years in deployment solutions, strong LAMP experience, Python scripting, and NATO English proficiency.

Qualifications

• 10+ years architecting deployment solutions.
• 10+ years system administration on LAMP stacks.
• Experience coordinating a small engineering team.
• Python scripting; MVC development and code review (PHP/SQL).
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, especially web application threats.
• MISP sysadmin experience; Python/PHP development for MISP.

Responsabilités

• Proactively manage and maintain multiple production MISP servers (confidentiality, integrity, availability).
• Stand up and configure dedicated MISP instances for NATO exercises.
• Keep MISP software current; support test/validation for change management.
• Configure and extend system monitoring; maintain Ansible playbooks.
• Develop Python automation integrating MISP with SIEM, IDS, and other subsystems.
• Maintain content quality rules; support streamlining/automation of user management via ITSM/IDAM tools (Cerebrate, Keycloak).
• Act as SME to NATO MISP communities on deployment architecture.
• Coordinate a small team of engineers; lead MISP Operators during exercises.
• Plan and deliver MISP training.
