Solita is seeking a Senior Data Engineer & Databricks Specialist in Belgium. You will design and implement Databricks Lakehouse architectures and optimize Spark workloads, delivering end-to-end data solutions across multiple projects in a hybrid work setting.

You will bring 4+ years in data engineering, 5+ years in consulting, and strong SQL, Python/Scala skills while collaborating with clients across AWS/Azure/GCP environments. Fluency in Dutch or French and English is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Proven track record delivering 2-3 Databricks projects end-to-end.
• Deep hands-on experience with Apache Spark and Databricks.
• Familiarity with multi-hop pipeline architecture in Databricks.
• Experience with big data engines like Spark, Hadoop, Flink and Presto.
• Proficiency in SQL; Python and Scala are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and whiteboarding skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.
• Fluent in Dutch or French, and English.

As a Senior Data Engineer & Databricks Specialist,you will have these Key Responsibilities:

• Databricks Architecture & Implementation:
