Job summary

WLG is seeking an experienced developer to turn data from multiple sources into clean, web-based dashboards for senior leadership. The role blends remote work with occasional visits to Brussels within an international defence context.

You will design, build and deploy apps using React, Vue.js or Angular, integrate Python ETL pipelines, and extend data tools as needed. Strong SQL, Python, and dashboard-building skills are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of web development in JavaScript and HTML with React, Vue.js or Angular.
• Extensive MS SQL experience; .NET is an advantage.
• Python for automation, ETL and analysis (pandas, numpy, matplotlib) and experience building backend services or pipelines.
• Dashboards built for senior stakeholders in Python and/or Power BI.
• Git, Agile ways of working and a bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, IT or similar.
• Advanced English and clear, confident communication.

Responsibilities

• Designing, building and deploying web applications and dashboards with modern front-end frameworks.
• Bringing data from classified and unclassified sources into those systems, with Python and ETL tooling doing the conversion and preparation.
• Extending the team's data collection tools in line with what stakeholders ask for, and testing them with the people who use them.
• Building dashboards for leadership in Python or Power BI.
• Documenting code, endpoints and architecture, writing training material and handing knowledge over to staff.
• Supporting security testing and approval, reporting progress and flagging risks to the timeline early.
