Job summary

Exsolvæ is seeking a senior data scientist to join our marketing data science team in Belgium. You will build responsible AI models for campaigns, using LLMs and fine-tuned models to turn unstructured data into actionable insights.

You will own the full lifecycle from business needs to production deployment and monitoring, and you will shape MLOps practices across the team. You will exchange knowledge in Cerebro sessions, mentor peers, and help steer the Core Domain’s next steps while working

Qualifications

• Master's degree in quantitative field or equivalent with strong data science background.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant data science experience.
• Expert Python with data science ecosystem and solid git/bash/SQL practices.
• Strong experience in customer journey modeling.
• Solid understanding of statistics, experiments, and ML (traditional and deep learning).
• Proven ability to use LLMs for text classification with interpretability and guardrails.

Responsibilities

• Build responsible AI models for marketing campaigns from design to deployment.
• Leverage LLMs and fine-tuned models to extract insights from unstructured data.
• Own end-to-end lifecycle: from business needs to production deployment and monitoring.
• Design rigorous evaluation, experiments, impact measurement, and guardrails for LLMs.
• Create feedback loops and dashboards for business users to improve predictions.
• Apply MLOps practices (MLflow, reproducible models and datasets).
• Translate technical results into actionable insights and mentor junior data scientists.
