Data Trust Associates seeks an experienced DPO/Privacy Expert to support clients in privacy, data protection, and regulatory compliance. You will translate requirements into pragmatic, future-proof solutions while acting as a trusted advisor across diverse client environments.

A hybrid working model with Antwerp headquarters is offered, with global engagement potential. The role requires 5+ years in privacy, a DPO certification, strong GDPR knowledge, and fluency in Dutch and English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in privacy and Data Protection, preferably as a DPO or in a senior privacy role.
• Certified Data Protection Officer (DPO) with hands-on DPO experience.
• Strong GDPR knowledge and DPIAs/PIAs, RoPAs, Privacy by Design, and privacy incident management.
• Experience in process and risk management and advising management and stakeholders.
• Seniority and autonomy to lead assignments independently.
• Excellent communication and fluency in Dutch and English.
• Knowledge of French is a plus.
• Knowledge of EU AI Act / AI Governance and AI privacy challenges is a plus.
• Experience in complex organizations or diverse client environments is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Act as a trusted advisor to clients on privacy and data protection topics.
• Support organizations in meeting current regulatory requirements and preparing for new legislation.
• Advise management and stakeholders on privacy, compliance, process, and risk management.
• Translate regulatory requirements into pragmatic, future-proof solutions.
• Lead DPIAs/PIAs, RoPAs, Privacy by Design, and privacy incident management.
• Contribute to EU AI Act and AI Governance initiatives.
• Work on challenging assignments for client environments.
• Collaborate across teams to share knowledge and expertise.
