act digital is seeking a Data Governance Specialist to define, implement and maintain a pragmatic Data Governance framework across a large organization. The role spans data governance, data quality, data management, data protection and regulatory compliance, with collaboration across Data, IT, Cybersecurity, Architecture, Legal/Privacy and business stakeholders.

The two main focus areas are governance of data and protection of critical data, with priority on the governance and protection

Qualifications

• Significant experience in data governance and data quality (+7 years).
• Excellent understanding of data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK).
• Practical experience with data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Ovaledge).
• Ability to learn quickly and collaborate with Data Management and IT teams.

Responsabilités

• Ensure compliance with NIS2 requirements relating to the management and protection of critical data.
• Inventory, map and classify critical data and their flows and dependencies.
• Define data management policies, standards and procedures.
• Define and enforce data access rules according to least privilege principle.
• Train and raise awareness among employees regarding data governance best practices.
