• Master's degree in Informatics or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years in analytics use cases; insurance/financial domain a plus.
• English fluency; Dutch/French preferred.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Mission Overview:

Keystone Solutions is seeking a Senior Data Engineer with expertise in the Azure Data environment for a consultancy mission at a client site. This role involves working closely with the Data Management team to enhance their capabilities in data governance and tooling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze, implement, and maintain ETL processes using Data Factory, mapping Data Flow, and PySpark in Databricks based on functional requirements.
• Prepare and execute testing activities.
• Design performant solutions.
• Fix bugs in pipelines during daily operations.

Requirements:

• Education: Master's degree in Informatics or equivalent experience.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch and/or French is preferred.
• Personal Skills: Must work well independently and collaboratively, solution-driven, strong problem-solving skills, proactive, and flexible.
• Business Experience: 2-5 years in analytics use cases; experience in the insurance or financial domain is a plus.
• Technical Experience: 2-5 years in Azure Cloud Data platform, DevOps, Azure Data Skills (Data Lake Gen2, Synapse), DataBricks, Data Factory, Python, Data Flow, and Power BI.
• Functional Experience: Database modeling via tools like Erwin or Visio; ability to interact with business teams and translate business requirements into functional and technical requirements.
