Job summary

Everience seeks an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join the Data team and drive the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable data solutions. You will build modern data architectures, pipelines, and models to support analytics across the organization.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data is available, high-quality, and actionable while guiding junior engineers and promoting best practices.

Qualifications

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable data architecture including databases, data lakes, and warehouses.
• Build, automate, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines ingesting data from multiple sources.
• Integrate heterogeneous data sources into unified, high-quality datasets for analytics.
• Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and reliability across the data lifecycle.
• Manage data infrastructure for performance, storage, and cost optimization.
• Act as technical lead, coaching other data engineers and promoting best practices.
• Develop data processing code using Python, Spark, SQL or similar.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, and stakeholders to meet data requirements.
• Ensure scalability, security, and performance of data platforms.
• Create and maintain documentation for data processes and architectures.
• Monitor and maintain production data pipelines and systems.

Responsibilities

• Share knowledge and best practices with IT and business stakeholders.
