Hive-X is seeking a skilled professional to lead data management and cloud architecture in Brussels. Key responsibilities include developing technology roadmaps and leading the modern Data Platform project, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines.

The ideal candidate has over 6 years of experience in data management and AI, strong proficiency in Azure Cloud, Terraform, and Kubernetes, and demonstrated team leadership in project management. Certifications in Azure Cloud and data engineering are essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the technology roadmap and framework for data storage, integration, and internal and external data flows across on‑prem and cloud environments.
• Define data architecture and guidelines for Java and Cobol applications, including strategies for migrating from Cobol to Java.
• Create and maintain data architectures and guidelines in the domains of data mining and statistics.
• Advisory role on PowerData tooling (dbt, Python, data integration) and lead the Python Center of Excellence, ensuring quality reporting.
• Lead the modern Data Platform project, covering design, implementation, project management, and product ownership.
• Share knowledge with and receive insights from other federal agencies.
• Ensure conformity with the IVC deliberation IVC/KSZG/24/114, acting as the point of contact for related discussions.
• Provide advice on Microsoft Copilot implementation with regard to security and data considerations.
• Collaborate closely with the enterprise architect to harmonize data and enterprise architectures.
• Serve as Secrets Management Advisor and as a member of the IAM Board.
• Participate in the internal Cloud Center of Excellence and the Federal Taskforce for Public Cloud.

Qualifications
