Sphere Defense is seeking a Senior Computer Vision Engineer to join our Brussels team. You will design autonomous countermeasures to protect allied nations, and own state-of-the-art perception pipelines for real-time detection, identification and tracking of aerial targets.

You will collaborate with Embedded Software, Control, Hardware and Test teams, port ML models to different platforms, optimize for constrained NPUs, and mentor junior engineers while delivering production-grade code.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Vision, Robotics, or equivalent.
• At least 8 years of experience in a relevant role.
• Proficiency with C++ and Python.
• Production-grade perception pipelines experience.
• Experience porting ML models and working with constrained NPUs.
• Fluent in English; French or Dutch a plus.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop autonomous countermeasures for aerial threats.
• Own perception pipelines for target detection, tracking and identification.
• Work with hardware and software teams on system architecture and calibration.
• Port ML models to different platforms (e.g., ONNX) and optimize for speed.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to design and documentation.
