Sphere Defense is seeking a Principal Perception Engineer in Brussels. This position involves designing autonomous countermeasures and developing perception pipelines crucial for aerial threat detection.

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree, extensive industry experience, and proficiency in C++ or Rust, with a passion for working in a high-performing team environment.

Qualifications

• At least 12 years of experience in relevant industry or academy positions.
• Demonstrated ability to produce production-grade code on resource-constrained platforms.
• Experience with implementing and training machine learning models.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop autonomous countermeasures against aerial threats.
• Develop state-of-the-art perception pipelines for situational awareness.
• Integrate and fuse data from various sensors.

Connaissances

Production language proficiency (C++ or Rust)

Prototyping language proficiency (Python)

Experience with multi-modal sensor fusion

Excellent interpersonal communication skills

Formation

Master’s degree (PhD+ preferred) in Computer Vision, Automation, or Robotics
