You will work with Partners on high profile matters, mentor junior economists, manage projects, and build senior client relationships.

This is a senior, ownership-oriented role offering visibility and the chance to shape the firm's European expansion.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in competition economics, ideally within economic consulting.
• Strong experience across European competition matters.
• Excellent economic, analytical and quantitative skills.
• Experience managing projects and mentoring junior economists.
• Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with senior clients and legal advisers.
• Interest in business development and growing client relationships.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and desire to contribute beyond individual casework.
• Postgraduate qualification in economics typically expected.

I am working with a boutique economic consulting firm with an established reputation in competition and regulatory economics, which is now entering an exciting period of growth across Europe. As part of this expansion, they are looking to appoint an Associate Director to play a key role in developing the Brussels competition practice and wider European business.

This is an opportunity for an experienced competition economist to join a growing platform where senior individuals have genuine ownership and influence. You will work closely with the Partners on high profile competition matters, client relationships and the continued development of the firm across Europe.

The opportunity

As an Associate Director, you will take a senior role across complex competition matters, working closely with Partners and clients from the outset.
