OMP Belgium is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop and enhance its industry solution, delivering robust, scalable software and enriching functionality for customers.

You will translate requirements into detailed designs, write high-quality code, and collaborate closely with solution managers, analysts, and consultants to ensure successful delivery.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you develop and improve OMP’s industry solution and enrich its functionality in a robust, innovative, and scalable way, applying your expertise to solve real-life industry challenges for our customers.

You are responsible for:

• Translating functional requirements into detailed, industry-specific technical solution designs and algorithms, and refining them into clear technical specifications.
• Writing code that lives up to our high-quality standards, in adherence to scrum methodology and compliant with the most recent standards in your preferred technology.
• Discussing and validating functional requirements in close collaboration with our seasoned solution managers, solution analysts, and solution consultants.
• Reviewing code written by your team members.
• Collaborating closely with software and quality assurance test engineers, analysts, consultants, technical writers, and project managers.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams- including software and QA engineers, analysts, consultants, technical writers, and project managers- while maintaining and supporting developments based on user feedback.
