ITProposal is seeking a Senior Business Data Analyst to support AML initiatives and lead business analysis efforts from ideation through delivery in Brussels. The role requires strong data analysis, SQL, and stakeholder coordination across business and technical teams.

The candidate will manage requirements, develop use cases, contribute to data architecture, and assist with testing and dashboards, working in a contract role with a start date ASAP.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong BA and Data Analysis experience.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Knowledge of data concepts, including Big Data, BI, reporting, and dashboarding.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in Dutch, French and English.

Responsabilités

• Lead business analysis activities from ideation through delivery.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Business Data Analyst to support AML initiatives and lead business analysis activities from ideation through delivery.

The role involves requirements management, data analysis, solution definition, testing, reporting, and close collaboration between business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis activities from ideation through delivery.
• Develop business cases and gather, manage, and maintain requirements with full traceability.
• Analyse existing data flows, user roles, and data usage.
• Identify data quality issues and define appropriate target solutions.
• Develop use cases in collaboration with Product Owners, Architects, and Subject Matter Experts.
• Support product, performance, and UAT testing.
• Contribute to data architecture and solution validation.
• Create and support reporting and dashboards.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Manage multiple stakeholders, requirements, and priorities throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8–10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong Business Analysis and Data Analysis experience.
• Strong understanding of data concepts, including Big Data, BI, reporting, and dashboarding.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Knowledge of conceptual modelling techniques and methods.
• Understanding of IT testing.

• Experience working with Agile methodologies, including backlog management, sprint planning, and MVP approaches.
