Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Principal Scientist, Biostatistics for Beerse, Belgium. You will lead the development and implementation of innovative statistical approaches across the development portfolio, partnering with statisticians, clinical teams, and external CROs.

Required are a Ph.D. or Master’s in Statistics with relevant experience, and strong SAS/R programming skills, including Bayesian and adaptive design concepts.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Statistics or related field with relevant experience, or Master’s in Statistics with commensurate experience.
• Proficient in SAS and R programming; familiarity with East Horizon, RPACT, FACTS, Python.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English; experience with planning, running, and documenting simulations.

Responsabilités

• Lead and support the development and implementation of innovative statistical methods across the development portfolio.
• Collaborate with external consultants and CROs; participate in IDMCs and trials with adaptive designs.
• Engage with Health Authorities and internal stakeholders to promote methodological innovation.
• Maintain external visibility through publications, conferences, and cross-functional training.
