adesso Belgium is seeking a Senior Business Analyst / Consultant – Banking to support Belgian banks in analysing and optimizing end-to-end banking processes and systems across retail and/or corporate domains.

The role bridges business and IT, drives digital transformation, and ensures regulatory-compliant delivery for accounts, payments, lending, onboarding and channels, while collaborating with stakeholders and solution architects across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Consultant in the banking sector.
• Experience with banking processes across accounts, payments, lending and onboarding.
• Knowledge of Belgian and EU banking regulations: PSD2/PSD3, AML/KYC, GDPR.
• Fluent in English; Dutch/French is a plus.
• Experience with core banking systems and digital channels.

Responsabilités

• Analyse and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Collaborate with operations, product, compliance, risk and IT teams.
• Map current and target state processes using BPMN/UML; identify optimization opportunities.
• Support digital transformation initiatives (onboarding, instant payments, lending automation).
• Define test scenarios, support UAT and ensure successful implementation of banking solutions.
• Work with solution architects and developers for functional consistency and scalability.
• Support integration of third-party services (payment providers, AML tools, open banking APIs).
• Ensure data quality, process efficiency and regulatory adherence throughout delivery.
• Act as SME supporting client workshops, change initiatives, and go-live activities.
