CloudPiling in Belgium is hiring a Senior Backend Developer (m/f) to join our Bruges region team. You will develop the backend in Python and Django, implement geotechnical calculations and foundation optimization, and contribute to software architecture and performance improvements.

You collaborate with geotechnical engineers and other developers, drive high-quality code through testing and reviews, and take ownership of technical projects while reporting to the Lead Developer.

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree in Computer Science or a related IT field.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, maintainable code.
• Professional presentation and collaboration with engineers.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to backend development of the CloudPiling platform (Python and Django).
• Develop software for geotechnical calculations and foundation optimization.
• Translate engineering challenges into robust, maintainable software solutions.
• Shape software architecture with a focus on performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with software and geotechnical engineers on new features.
