Vyntra is seeking a backend engineer to join the Transaction Observability team in Mechelen, building real-time ingestion, indexing and search capabilities for massive financial transaction data. You will work on high-performance Java services, with a stack that includes Spring Boot, Elasticsearch, Kubernetes and Gradle.

You’ll design scalable systems, contribute to architecture decisions, and own production-quality code in a hybrid work environment near Mechelen station.

What you'll be working on

You’ll join our Transaction Observability team in Mechelen, building the core platform responsible for ingesting, indexing and making searchable enormous volumes of financial transaction data in real time. This isn't another CRUD application, you’ll be working on the backend systems that power search, performance and scalability across a platform used by some of the world's largest banks.

You’ll probably have:

Bonus points if you've worked with:

• Elasticsearch or Apache Lucene.
• Fintech, regtech or financial messaging.
• High-volume, real-time or event-driven systems.
