Nebius is hiring a Senior Backend Software Engineer for the Cloud Monetization Platform, based in Amsterdam or remote. You will help power the commercial foundation of Nebius Cloud, designing distributed backend systems and reliable workflows across multiple microservices.

The role requires 5+ years of software experience, strong Python knowledge (or willingness to learn our stack), and a focus on scalability, transactions, and ownership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of Python or willingness to quickly become productive with our technology stack
• Experience building distributed backend systems and microservice architectures
• Understanding of distributed transactions, consistency models, and reliable asynchronous workflows
• Experience designing scalable backend services
• Strong communication and ownership mindset
