Grant Thornton België is seeking a Senior Auditor to join our Audit & Assurance team. You will identify operational weaknesses with clients and map out financial risks, contributing to high-quality statutory and internal audit tasks.

With a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accountancy-taxation and at least two years’ experience, you will work on client sites, travel as needed, and apply our CLEARR values in your daily practice.

What does a Senior Auditor at Grant Thornton do?

• As a trusted advisor, you identify operational weaknesses with your clients and map out financial or accounting risks.
• Within our Audit & Assurance department, you will be involved with consolidated financial statements, periodic financial reports, and other audit tasks.
• Operational tasks such as preparing the audit program and establishing control procedures are also part of your responsibilities.
• As a senior staff member, you’ll mainly focus on engaging and complex assignments.
• You work primarily on client sites, so you’ll have a lot of direct, personal contact.

What makes you the Senior Auditor we're looking for?

You have a bachelor’s degree in accountancy-taxation or a master’s degree with a specialization in this field.

You have at least two years of experience in an audit role.

You express yourself fluently in Dutch, and English. Knowledge of French is a plus.

You are Client-oriented and think outside the box: proactively looking for solutions tailored to your clients’ business realities.

You are flexible and able to travel to our various offices and those of your clients.
