Actiris is assisting in recruiting a Senior Accountant for an international logistics company based in Antwerp. The role covers general ledger accounting, monthly closings, and reporting across multiple entities.

The candidate should have a degree in Accounting or Finance, solid Excel skills, and at least 2 years of experience in financial accounting, with a proactive and motivated mindset.

Qualifications

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in financial reporting and general accounting practices.
• Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably end-to-end (A-Z).
• Strong knowledge of Excel.
• Eager to learn, proactive & motivated.

Responsabilités

• Manage general ledger accounting for one or more entities, including accounting & reporting.
• Perform monthly postings (journals, accruals, prepayments, depreciation - US GAAP).
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and analytical reviews of results per branch.
• Support the monthly reporting process and VAT & tax declarations.
• Assist with year-end closings and prepare statutory files & financial statements for local GAAP.
• Support external audits and liaise with auditors, tax advisors and international branches.
• Contribute to ad hoc projects and improvements within the accounting team.
