imec in Leuven, Belgium, is seeking a SEM-TEM Hardware Assistant Technician to help maintain advanced microscopy tools used in next-generation semiconductor development. You will monitor tool health, support suppliers, and assist internal users to ensure high-quality SEM and TEM inspections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in physics, engineering, chemistry or related field.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory tools or microscopy equipment.
• Strong planning, multitasking and prioritization in fast-paced environments.
• Good command of English.
• Willing to work in shift system including nights and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Monitor overall health and performance of SEM/TEM tools.
• Act as main contact with equipment suppliers for issues.
• Serve as first point of contact for internal users on tool health or performance.
• Contribute to hardware KPIs and performance targets.
• Support SPC activities for TEM tools to maintain stability.
