EVS in Belgium is seeking an Information Security Engineer to join the IT Security team within IT Corporate. In this hands-on role, you'll drive operational cybersecurity across vulnerability management, monitoring, incident response support, risk assessments and ongoing improvement of security controls.

You'll work with Infrastructure and Workplace teams as EVS advances toward ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and NIS2 compliance, implementing controls, producing audit-ready evidence, and maintaining

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in cybersecurity, security operations or related role.
• Hands-on experience with security monitoring, incident handling and remediation.
• Familiar with operational security processes and tooling.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and investigate alerts across multiple platforms and coordinate investigations.
• Participate in incident response efforts and refinement of detection use cases.
• Support development and upkeep of procedures and playbooks.
• Conduct operational reviews and follow-up work.
• Coordinate vulnerability management activities with infrastructure and teams.
• Ensure findings from engagements are tracked and remediated.
