Job summary

Editx, partnering with an international technology organisation, seeks an experienced Security Manager to reinforce its Legal & Compliance function in Belgium. You will blend legal and technical insight to shape governance, risk and compliance across the business.

In this role you will drive GRC strategy, manage ISO 27001/22301 compliance, translate GDPR/NIS2 requirements into actionable policies, and advise stakeholders while supporting privacy governance and ESG reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading GRC programs.
• Knowledge of EU GDPR, NIS2, CER is expected.
• Strong stakeholder management and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive GRC strategy across governance, risk and compliance.
• Coordinate privacy governance, DPIAs and support the DPO.
• Translate European regulations into policies, controls and processes.

Security Manager - The Job

• **GRC Strategy:**Drive the organisation's governance, risk and compliance framework, from risk identification to mitigation and reporting.
• **Security & Certifications:**Manage compliance with**ISO 27001, ISO 22301**and other relevant security and resilience frameworks.
• **Regulatory Compliance:**Translate European regulations such as**NIS2, CER and GDPR**into actionable policies, controls and processes.
• **Privacy Management:**Coordinate GDPR compliance, DPIAs, privacy assessments and support the DPO in data protection governance.
• **ESG & Corporate Governance:**Develop ESG governance processes, monitor commitments and coordinate reporting activities.
• **Stakeholder Advisory:**Act as a trusted advisor to internal teams, challenge existing practices and continuously improve GRC tools and processes.
