Wlgroup is seeking an accreditation and security risk engineer to assess, document, and communicate risk positions for a multinational defence system. You will contribute to solution architecture by identifying applicable directives and advising on security controls across complex environments.

Responsibilities include running risk assessments, prioritising accreditation requirements, coordinating with stakeholders, and managing the required documentation and testing with accrediting

Qualifications

• Degree with two years of relevant experience, or six years progressive expertise.
• Experience in accreditation of major system projects in a large organisation.
• Experience with risk assessment methods and tooling.
• Experience planning and implementing security components.

Responsabilités

• Identify applicable security directives and contribute to solution architecture.
• Advise on applying and operating security controls; explain purpose.
• Run security risk assessments for communication and information systems.
• Spot risks from candidate architectures and propose countermeasures.
• Define and prioritise accreditation requirements with evidence.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align requirements and resolve conflicts.
• Advise project and system managers across the system life cycle.
• Plan and manage accreditation documents: system description, plan, risk assessment, security requirements, procedures, test plan.
• Witness security testing and agree remediation with accrediting authority.
• Represent the organisation on accreditation matters with boards and authorities.
