The Multinational Defence Organisation is seeking an experienced security engineer to assess accreditation needs, document risk assessments and liaise with authorities who sign off on the process.

You will work across system lifecycles, advising on security controls, coordinating with stakeholders and supporting proposals and bid invitations. Strong English and international exposure are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 2 years' experience; 6 years can substitute.
• At least 2 years across accreditation, risk assessment, and security components.
• Working knowledge of the security policy framework and directives.
• Experience in international environments with military and civilian colleagues.
• Relevant certifications such as CISA or CISSP.
• English you can defend a risk position in writing and on a board.

Responsabilités

• Identify applicable security directives and contribute to solution architecture.
• Advise on how security controls are applied, and explain their purpose.
• Run security risk assessments for information systems, listing threats and residual risks.
• Spot risks in candidate architectures and propose countermeasures.
• Scope and prioritise accreditation requirements with evidenced plans.
• Work with stakeholders to prioritise requirements and resolve conflicts.
• Provide input to proposals and invitations to bid on projects.
• Plan and manage accreditation documents including description and test plans.
• Witness security testing and coordinate remediation with the accrediting authority.
• Represent the organisation on accreditation matters with boards and authorities.
