Dekimo Experts in Belgium seeks a senior Telecommunications specialist to design and analyze satellite communication systems, develop RF link budgets, and contribute to high-level architecture. You will collaborate across RF, electrical, software, FPGA, and network teams on multi-disciplinary space missions.

The role requires a MSc or PhD in Electrical/Aerospace, 3+ years in telecom/RF, and fluent English. You will work on-site at client sites and be part of a Dekimo consultant team delivering

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in telecommunication systems, RF electronics or antenna.
• Knowledge of telecommunication payloads and standards (e.g., DVB-S2X, DVB-RCS2, 5G, CCSDS).
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously across teams and company to drive multi-disciplinary projects to completion.
• Good communication skills.
• Fluency in English.

Responsabilités

• Design and analyze satellite communication systems to meet requirements (capacity, throughput).
• Develop RF link budgets and assess performance using simulation tools.
• Design modulation, coding, and multiplexing techniques for reliable satellite links.
• Collaborate with customers on high-level architecture.
• Support development chain from requirements to testing (architecture, design, manufacturing, integration, test).
• Work on RF/telecommunication spacecraft architecture with multiple teams.
• Participate in design reviews and collaborate with external providers.
• Perform in-lab testing and on-orbit performance validation using RF measurement tools.
