SAP IS-U Solution Designer

As a SAP IS-U Solution Designer, you translate complex business needs into smart, scalable SAP IS-U solutions that align seamlessly with the overall IT architecture. You play a key role in delivering impactful solutions in the utilities sector, working at the intersection of business, IT, and innovation.

Responsibilities

• You act as the subject‑matter expert for SAP IS‑U across end‑to‑end business processes.
• You capture business requirements and turn them into pragmatic, scalable, and cost‑efficient solution designs, including MVP approaches where relevant.
• You collaborate closely with solution architects, technical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and value delivery.
• You evaluate solution feasibility by balancing business value, cost, and technical fit.
• You drive configuration, implementation, and testing, ensuring timely and high‑quality delivery.
• You ensure compliance with architecture standards and support integrations with SAP modules and external systems such as CRM and Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in SAP IS‑U, covering billing, invoicing, metering, device management, and preferably FI‑CA.
• Proven experience in solution design, configuration, and end‑to‑end implementation within SAP environments.
• Experience in SAP integration landscapes, connecting IS‑U with other modules and external systems.
• Solid technical knowledge (ABAP, enhancements, BAPIs, IDOCs) and ability to guide development teams.
• At least 5 years of experience in SAP delivery, confident in estimating and delivering solutions.
• Fluency in English; Dutch and/or French is a strong plus, and SAP IS‑U certification is an asset.
