Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking a Software Engineer I to design, develop, and enhance SAP ABAP solutions in a hybrid Brussels-based environment. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver ABAP-based RICEFW, Fiori, OData, and HANA developments across ECC and S/4HANA platforms.

The role requires 4–6 years of ABAP experience, strong debugging and performance tuning skills, and collaboration with consultants and analysts in an agile setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering and 4–6 years in SAP ABAP development.
• Hands-on ABAP programming, debugging, testing, and performance tuning.
• Experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, and OData.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and customize ABAP-based solutions (RICEFW).
• Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and end-users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop SAP Fiori apps, OData services, and HANA-based developments.
• Follow coding standards, development best practices, and system performance guidelines.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
