Philips Health Systems in Belgium is seeking a Sales Leader Flanders to drive growth across the full Health Systems portfolio, building strategic partnerships with hospital leaders and procurement teams. You will lead a matrixed team of Key Account Managers and Sales Specialists, aligning cross-functional teams to win in a dynamic market.

The role requires 10+ years in healthcare sales, a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, and fluency in Dutch and English.

  • 10+ years of experience in healthcare sales, strategic account management, or commercial leadership.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English (French is a plus).

In this role, you have the opportunity to Shape the future growth of Philips Health Systems in Flanders by building strategic partnerships with healthcare leaders, expanding market share across a broad portfolio, and leading a high-performing commercial team that helps customers deliver better care to more patients.

Belgium represents a significant growth opportunity for Philips Health Systems. As Sales Leader Flanders, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening Philips' market position, developing strategic customer partnerships, and building an organization that is well-positioned to capture future growth across a highly dynamic healthcare landscape.

Your role Drive commercial performance across the full Health Systems portfolio in Flanders, including Imaging, Image Guided Therapy (IGT), Enterprise Informatics, Monitoring, Ultrasound, and Services. While directly leading a team of Key Account Managers responsible for Imaging, IGT, and Enterprise Informatics, you are accountable for the overall Health Systems business results in the region and collaborate closely with modality-specific commercial teams for Monitoring and Ultrasound through a matrix management structure. Lead the commercial strategy and sales execution for Philips Health Systems in Flanders, driving sustainable growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Develop and strengthen relationships with key healthcare stakeholders, including hospital executives, clinical leaders, procurement teams, and decision-makers across the Belgian healthcare ecosystem. Serve as the executive representative of Philips in the market, building trust and positioning Philips as a strategic long-term partner. Lead, coach, and develop a team of commercial professionals, including Key Account Managers and Sales Specialist, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance. Build and execute strategic account and territory plans to increase order intake, market share, revenue, and customer loyalty. Partner closely with modality sales specialists, service teams, marketing, operations, and other internal stakeholders to deliver integrated customer solutions. Ensure commercial excellence through effective forecasting, pipeline management, business planning, pricing strategy, and performance tracking. Act as a bridge builder across functions, aligning teams around customer needs and business objectives. Inspire the organization with a clear vision, resilience, and a growth mindset in an increasingly competitive healthcare market.

You are the right fit if you have:

  • Strong understanding of the Belgian healthcare market and hospital landscape with an established network within Belgian healthcare systems, particularly across radiology, cardiology, healthcare IT, and hospital leadership.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Healthcare, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in healthcare sales, strategic account management, or commercial leadership.
  • Proven success leading commercial teams and delivering business growth within complex healthcare environments.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English (French is a plus).
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives, clinical leaders, and procurement decision-makers.
  • Experience selling complex healthcare solutions through consultative and value-based sales approaches.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in forecasting, territory planning, contract negotiations, and pipeline management.
  • Experience working effectively in matrix organizations and leading cross-functional collaboration.
  • Outstanding communication, influencing, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

The base salary range for this role is € 72,470.94 –€ 126,634.72. We determine pay within the range using objective factors, like the skills the role requires, your relevant experience and the responsibility you'll have in this role, alongside internal equity and local market considerations. This role is eligible for bonus, with your rewards linked to individual performance and company results. We'll share the full approach with you during the interview process, so you can make a clear, informed decision.
