Plouvier Group N.V. seeks an ADN Safety Advisor to strengthen our inland tanker operations. You will ensure ADN compliance, maintain traceable documentation, and support crews with practical safety guidance.

With a focus on risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations, you will translate complex regulations into clear procedures, helping our 20 vessels operate safely and efficiently. Accuracy in records and collaboration with crews will be essential.

Qualifications

• ADN certificate and solid practical experience in ADN and dangerous goods.
• Inland shipping experience, preferably tanker operations.
• Fluent English; German knowledge is a plus.
• Strong documentation and organisational skills.
• Ability to translate regulations into practical crew guidance.

Responsabilités

• Act as ADN Safety Advisor and ensure compliance with ADN requirements
• Maintain accurate, complete and traceable ADN & QHES documentation
• Lead risk assessments, audits, inspections and incident investigations
• Develop and maintain our Safety Management System (SMS)
• Support Captains, crews and Superintendents with practical ADN and safety guidance
• Analyze QHES data, identify trends and drive continuous improvement
• Work with focus groups involving crew and shore-based colleagues to identify risks and develop practical solutions
• Translate regulatory requirements and operational feedback into clear procedures and improvements

Are you an experienced QHES professional with a strong background in ADN and inland tanker shipping?

At Plouvier Group, we are looking for an ADN Safety Advisor to strengthen our team and play a key role in the safety and compliance of our inland tanker fleet.

This is more than a general QHES position. ADN expertise and administrative accuracy are at the heart of the role.

What will you do?

Act as ADN Safety Advisor and ensure compliance with applicable ADN requirements

Maintain accurate, complete and traceable ADN & QHES documentation

Lead risk assessments, audits, inspections and incident investigations

Develop and maintain our Safety Management System (SMS)

Support Captains, crews and Superintendents with practical ADN and safety guidance

Analyse QHES data, identify trends and drive continuous improvement

Work with focus groups involving crew and shore-based colleagues to identify risks and develop practical solutions

Translate regulatory requirements and operational feedback into clear procedures and improvements

Who are we looking for? You have:

• A valid ADN Safety Advisor certificate
• Proven practical experience with ADN and dangerous goods operations
• Experience in inland shipping, preferably tanker operations
• A strong understanding of European inland shipping regulations
• Experience with risk assessments, audits and incident investigations
• Excellent documentation and organisational skills
• A highly accurate and detail-oriented approach
• The ability to translate regulations into practical solutions for vessel crews
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
• Fluency in English and a good level of German
• A willingness to travel to vessels and operational locations when required
• Experience with SIRE, VIQ, TMSA and OCIMF is an advantage.
